Dim analytics screens with line charts in a quiet operations room
A Tuesday evening desk, not a keynote slide.

Channel Cachecore teaches App Analytics the way a conservatoire teaches sight-reading: slowly, with the score on the stand, and without pretending that a prettier chart is a better argument. We work with product managers, data folk, and founders who already have a warehouse and still cannot explain why week-four retention moved.

You will not leave with a vendor certification. You will leave able to defend an event taxonomy in a room that wants a shortcut.

How the room is run

Most App Analytics training begins with a login and a tour of funnels. We begin with a funeral: a list of events that should never have been shipped, and the product questions they made unanswerable. Students bring a live app — or a faithful staging build — and we treat its telemetry as a manuscript with missing pages.

Seminars are small. Faculty interrupt. If a cohort chart is being used as theatre, someone in the room will say so before the coffee is cold. The point is not cruelty; it is to make the habit of asking “what would falsify this” feel ordinary.

Between sittings you keep a measurement diary. We read it. The diary is graded more severely than the dashboard you present in week ten, because the diary shows whether you can live with uncertainty without decorating it.

Retention Architecture

An eleven-week desk for people who own the graph the executive team screenshots. You will rebuild activation definitions, choose cohort windows that match how the product is actually used, and learn where resurrection campaigns quietly poison the series.

Informational fee from £2,480. Places are offered after a short written note, not a countdown.

“The taxonomy workshop was slower than I wanted — we spent two full sittings arguing over viewed_screen versus screen_viewed. That argument saved a quarter of cleanup after our iOS rewrite.”

I arrived fluent in Amplitude and left embarrassed by how little I could say about empty cohorts. The empty-cohort clinic on the Cohort Lab day was the piece I still quote in stand-up.

Harriet would not let us report a north star we could not retire. Irritating. Correct.
